Østfold, Norway

The workshop in Østfold will bring together various stakeholders from forestry and agriculture to engage in meaningful discussions about local climate risks and potential adaptation strategies.

Bjørn Inge Rostad from the Norwegian Agricultural Advisory Service will give a presentation on what it’s like to provide guidance in a changing climate. What is the current level of knowledge about climate adaptation among local farmers – and what kinds of questions are they asking?

Participants will also be invited on a field walk to explore our demonstration areas. Here, we’ll showcase practices such as the use of biochar, cover crops, structure liming, and regenerative methods including ferment applications and subsoil loosening.

We will meet at Kalnes Upper Secondary School on 22 October.
