Regional Workshops Autumn 2025
Climate change is already affecting agriculture and forestry in the Nordics and Estonia, and its impacts will intensify in the coming years.
How can we prepare for these changes, harness new opportunities, and strengthen climate resilience?
We invite you to join the discussion, share your experiences and learn directly from experts and peers in our upcoming regional workshops this autumn!
Workshops will delve into climate risks and climate adaptation solutions for the agriculture and forestry sectors in the boreal regions of Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Norway and Sweden.

What to expect?
The workshops will provide:
opportunities to share your thoughts, concerns and ideas for solutions with others
opportunities to co-create regional climate risk knowledge and resilience with your own community supported by researchers
up-to-date research information on regional climate risks in different future climate scenarios;
examples of local demonstrations;
examples of indicators that can be used to assess climate risks;
adaptation narratives and co-developed table of adaptation options.
Who is this for?
We welcome a wide range of individuals and organisations connected to agriculture and forestry: farmers, foresters, landowners, policymakers, businesses, financiers and associations that will benefit directly from co-created solutions implemented in local regions.
Background
The workshops are part of a €10 million Horizon Europe project Precilience, which aims to develop the best possible climate adaptation solutions working directly with the communities its solutions mean to serve.
